Since the subject of the uninsured is coming up, let's look at the numbers. The HHS has a very nice survey showing the socioeconomic profile of the uninsured in America. Let's take the two most interesting charts, the uninsured by age:

In short, setting aside children, the median uninsured American is a 33 year old making about $42,000—about $3,500 per month. Now, what sort monthly insurance payment can that person afford? And what sort of payment would they end up paying under the Obama or Clinton plans? I have no idea.
